As an artist, and a human, I am committed to making a positive difference in the world. I passionately believe that we all have the potential to live our dream lives, but first we must believe it is possible.
If our thoughts become our realities, it is essential to maintain a positive mindset. However, with all the stresses of modern life, it’s not always easy to stay positive and be kind to yourself. That’s why I’ve created Remedies for Modern Life – wellness tonics for the heart and soul.
Remedies for Modern Life is an ongoing social sculpture dedicated to encouraging wellbeing through the transformative power of imagination. The psychology behind the Remedies is based on the Laws of Attraction, the principles of Quantum Physics and the science of Positive Thinking.
The effects of each remedy rely on the imagination of the user. The better your imagination, the better it works. The more you believe, the more changes you’ll see. Each bottle of magic potion contains a lifetime’s supply, so you can take it as often as you need and it will never run out. You can also share it with all your friends. And if, one day you find someone in greater need than you, pass your potion on to them and be sure to tell them all about Remedies For Modern Life.
Remedies for Modern Life is a project that grew out of a desire to put a smile on people’s faces. On a more spiritual level, to try and help people manifest a better future for themselves by giving them tiny reminders that if they can imagine a better future for themselves, they can live it.
My intention here is to provide some context for this creative social project and a narrative around these individualised miniature artworks. This site is designed as an origin for the project, a touchstone for those who might have the fortune to find a little bottle of magic on their journey, and for those that have received potions from me over the years before the idea of Remedies For Modern Life was fully formed.
I sincerely hope that the potions I have put out into the world have brought magic and light into the lives of those who have encountered them. I feel driven to create them, for myself, and for us all because we could all use a little help with being human and learning to nourish our souls.
With love, Lara
